Common questions
How long does a typical project take?
Depends on scope. A brand and marketing site usually takes 2 to 4 weeks. A full product build with AI backend can run 4 to 8 weeks. I scope it on the call so you leave with a realistic timeline.
How does pricing work?
Fixed-scope projects get a flat fee quoted after the discovery call. Ongoing work is weekly retainer. No hourly billing, no surprise invoices.
Do you only do design, or engineering too?
Both. I design and build end to end. The same person who decides the interaction pattern also ships the code. No handoffs, no lost intent.
Can you work with our existing team?
Yes. I've embedded with founding teams, worked alongside senior engineers, and delivered to product leads. I adapt to your workflow, not the other way around.
What if we just need a strategy or audit?
I do focused strategy and audit engagements too. At alfred_, I worked hands-on across AI product design, design engineering, and development, while also conducting a product, competitive, and growth audit at the company's request.
